Based in Wrexham, Quadraco Contracts Limited is a leading supplier of bespoke furnishing solutions. Selling to both the public and private sector clients include several NHS Trusts and a number of leading higher education establishments.
Following an internal audit the QCL leadership identified its current structures failed to meet the stringent standards required for I.S.O. accreditation. In some cases, potential clients’ due diligence highlighted gaps in the company’s documentation, which impacted on its potential to compete for large-scale contracts.
The company had under-developed systems and processes and an inconsistent approach to employee relations. Ian helped Quadraco establish robust, consistent and sustainable HR protocols, including documentation, records and policies to meet current best practice and support the company’s growth ambitions.
Ian’s work concentrated on developing and implementing a comprehensive range of new HR procedures and policy documents from scratch, including new contracts of employment, job descriptions, staff handbook and a full suite of policies.
Working closely with the organisation’s directors, Ian guided the Quadraco leadership’s organisational development to ensure the company’s structure is future proof with the capacity, systems and protocols to support its expansion plans. Ian’s work covered:
- Performance and talent management
- Employee engagement
- Training & people development strategy
- Leadership development
- Exit strategy.
Quadraco Contracts is now working towards its application for I.S.O. accreditation.
